The Carbon-Ti X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 Center Lock disc brake rotors are super light and of the highest quality, made with the best materials and the best technologies to position themselves at the top of the range in terms of weight, performance and prestige. They can be used on road (Road Racing, Triathlon) and offroad (MTB, Gravel, Cross) both.

They are of the semi-floating type and consist of a steel braking surface, anchored to the central body in carbon fiber by means of a series of special titanium rivets.

The braking surface is made from a very high quality steel plate with a thickness of 1.8 mm, precisely cut by water-jet and then thermally and superficially treated to ensure flatness, high friction and maximum durability. Since the rotor can be disassembled, the steel braking surface can be replaced when worn while maintaining the spider and the rest of the hardware, in this way the X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 Center Lock rotors can be regenerated numerous times thus reducing management costs (replacement of the braking surface is made exclusively at Carbon-Ti factory).

The design of the braking surface and the related lightening has been skilfully studied to maximize braking effectiveness and power while optimizing weight, pad wear, cooling and silent operation. It has a profile with rounded CNC-machined edges that increase safety and comply with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) regulations. The result is truly amazing and places the X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 Center Lock, not just a step above the previous version, but at the top of the category.

The braking surface is fixed in a semi-floating manner on a central carbon fiber spider made from an high quality carbon plate polymerised in a high pressure autoclave to guarantee the best possible mechanical characteristics. The plate is first cut with the water-jet and then CNC milled to obtain the fixing holes and the seats for the bushings.

The composite spider guarantees not only a lower weight but also a high rigidity and better heat dissipation characteristics as well as an attractive and very racing look.

The fixing between the braking surface and the spider is entrusted to special titanium bushings made from full CNC and elegantly lasered with the Carbon-Ti logo.

The X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 Center Lock are produced in diameters of 140 mm - 160 mm - 180 mm, with Center Lock standard connection. The rotors comes with special adapters CNC machined from 7075T6 aluminum (black anodized) which makes them compatible with Center Lock standard. If you don't use the Center Lock adapters, the rotors are compatible also with 6 holes International Standard for the maximum versatility.

With the adapter there's a special laser engraved titanium protection plate and a black anodized 7075T6 Aluminum CNC lockring with a low profile which offers wide compatibility with hubs equipped with 12, 15 or 20 mm thru axles.

Carbon-Ti X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 Center Lock rotors can be used with brake pads of any compound (both organic and metallic, semi-metallic or sintered), for the best performance we recommend the use of organic pads.

The weight is only 86 gr. (140mm), 98 gr. (160 mm) and 116 gr. (180mm) adapter included (lockring excluded +8 grams). Several grams are saved compared to the original rotors supplied as standard with the braking systems. The advantage is then double and therefore more perceptible since we are dealing with unsprung and rotating masses.

The X-Rotor SteelCarbon 3 Center Lock are therefore ideal for saving weight while maintaining high performance and wide safety margins, adding a personal touch of exclusivity to your bicycle.
