With only 64 grams (70 mm lenght), GrigioCarbonio Attack T800 is one of the lightest stem in the world. It fit  Oversize  handlebars (31.8 mm diameter) and standard or tapered headtubes with 1.1/8" end (the height on the headtube is 45 mm). It's available in +/- 6° and +/-17° angle, 70-80-90-100-110-120 mm lenght.

GrigioCarbonio Attack T800 is not a simple stem but a masterpiece of design and technologies. Clever design, high technologies and best materials are used to create this beauty.

It's light weight doesn't affect stiffness and safety that are strenghts of GrigioCarbonio Attack.

The stem is monolithic made without junctions or bonding, carbon fiber layers are super compacted and allows a superior strenght.

The stem is made with high quality T800 fibers, oriented in the best way possible thanks to GrigioCarbonio great experience on composite materials. Final layer is 3k plain weave with glossy or matte finishing.

Stiffness is guaranteed by:

  • Oversize body shape, for example 35 mm diameter instead 30 mm standard stem diameter increase stiffness in exponential way due to the moment of inertia of the section. GrigioCarbonio Attack T800 increase 40% torsional stiffness with less stress (-20%) so it's also more safe and will last for a long time.

  • Stem design, the closed type front end is always better for torsional stiffness than an open one (with removable clamp/clamps)
  • Fibers layering, carbon fiber layers are placed to allow the best stiffness/weight ratio possible with a great comfort (where's required).

Closed type front end design is the most GrigioCarbonio Attack representative feature. This solution isn't practical during handlebar installation and can create fitting problem with some kind of road handlebars (tipically aero flattened ones) but has got some bigger benefits :

GrigioCarbonio produce Attack stem also in traditional shape with removable front clamps which is better for practicality and versatility but surely not in pure performance.

Every detail is considered all the corners are smooth to avoid any handlebar damage (specially carbon fiber ones), bolts housing are precise to have a linear loads concentration without high load spots.

Also the bolts aren't standard, they're special made of Gr.5 Titanium CNC machined with forged heads (Torx insert) and rolled threads so the best bolts you can make! Their special design, with the help of CNC machining, allows to save weight and minimize high stress spots. They are available in black color.

The bolts are screwed on to threaded inserts made of 7075T6 Aluminium. The special design allows a perfect mechanic and aesthetic fitting. Stock inserts comes in black anodized color but some customizing is possible (gold, red or green color inserts are available on demand, please ask for it in order notes).

Sticker decals with GC logo are easly removable and customizable (white, black, gold, red, yellow, orange and blue color decals are available, please specify what do you prefer in order notes)

We always advise to use a precise torque wrench to tightening stem bolts following user manual instructions.

GrigioCarbonio Attack stem after FEM simulation, easly withstand severe UNI 10518 safety test, so it's light, stiff and affordable at the same time. These great results comes after many lab tests and a clever product developing.

To broke an Attack stem, very high loads are required, 5 times more than safety test standard! GrigioCarbonio Attack fatigue life is very high so it can be used also for more gravity-oriented discipline like All Mountain and Enduro.

Lightweight isn't GrigioCarbonio primary goal but only the consequence to use best materials and technologies available.
