Carbon-Ti X-Clamp 3 is an ultralight seatpost clamp made with best materials and technologies with a superfine finishing. The main core of the clamp is made of 7075T6 aluminium CNC machined, the fixing bolt is a grade 5 titanium one with forged head and rolled threads for the best resistance and reliability. The fixing bolt has got a black matte finishing and can be tightened with a 4 mm hex wrench.
X-Clamp 3 is 14 mm thick and is available in many diameters : 30.0 - 31.8 - 32.6 -34.9 -36.9 mm. Matte black finishing adds a racing look but is elegance too at the same time. Graphics are laser etched, they doesn't adds any weight and they last for a very long time.
7075T6 is the aluminium alloy with best mechanic performances, but is also very difficult to anodize so any clamp is handmade polished before anodizing process to assure a top quality finishing. X-Clamp 3 is also available in many other shiny anodized colors, you can find them in our webshop.
X-Clamp 3 weights starts from only 9.3 grams (30.0 mm diameter) up to 10.5 grams (36.9 mm diameter). It's one of the lightest aluminium seatpost clamps in the world and is lighter than many carbon fiber seatpost clamps.
X-Clamp 3 seatpost clamp comes from a continual improvement process , CAD design, lab tests, racing tests with many top riders....X-Clamp 3 is very safe and reliable and can be used for competitions (MTB, road racing, gravel, cx).
The attention to details is maniacal, best materials, fine machining with smooth edges, top quality finishing...the final result is stunning!
We always suggest to use a torque wrench (a good quality one well calibrated) and don't exceed the max torque allowed, follow user manual instructions that comes with the clamp and that you can find in the product page download area.
