Carbon-Ti X-Lock QR12 is an ultralight aluminium thru axles family with 12 mm diameter for front wheels used on road (racing, triathlon) and offroad (Gravel, Cross).
X-Lock QR12 Thru Axles are made of 7075T6 aluminium (the strongest aluminium alloy), fully CNC machined. Nice anodized finishing (many colors available) and laser etched graphics assure an elegant look and a long lasting without adding any extra weight.
The axle design is optimized and it's hollow inside so the final weight is very low, only 23-25 gr. (due to axle standard) and allows to save a lot of weight because stock axles are usually cheap and heavy.
X-Lock QR12 axles are strong and safe (they've been used also for MTB), they allows to increase performances with a better look and a great reliability. X-Lock QR12 axles can be easily installed and removed just with the use of a 5 mm hex wrench.
X-Lock QR12 axles are available in many different standards for different bicycle standards, the diameter is always the same (12 mm), total length, thread length and thread pitch changes...also the axle end shape can be different (flat or tapered). Most of the axles has got their features directly laser etched on, if you aren't able to find them try to ask to the producer or the seller of the bicycle/frame. Is always possible to measure stock axles that comes with the bicycle/frame and check if they are compatible with our products, just give a look at the follow tech specs :
