THM-Carbones BSA MTB Bottom Bracket

THM-Carbones BSA MTB 68-73 mm bottom bracket specific for THM-Carbones Clavicula XC and M3 cranks therefore compatible with 30 mm diameter crank axles. The very external positioning of the bearings and the large diameter ensure a higher torsional stiffness of the cranks and a longer life of the bearings themselves. It is a top-of-the-range product made in Germany, characterized by high performance and great reliability with a truly top level total quality.

The kit consists of two bearing cups, two bearings and three spacers. The cups are made of aluminum machined from solid by CNC machining and equipped with a long BSA type thread that is suitable for frames with bottom bracket shell both with a width of 68 mm and 73 mm, the supplied spacers, also made of aluminum, are used precisely to compensate for the width of the BB shell. The bearings are high quality sealed industrial type. The cups and spacers have a black anodized finish.

The weight of the THM-Carbones BSA MTB bottom bracket is only 77 grams (80 grams including the spacers) and is obtained in extreme safety, reliability and longevity, therefore without resorting to economical plastic shells that are lighter but also more delicate and less precise in terms of tolerances and consequent operating precision.

The assembly of the bottom bracket cups on the frame requires a special THM tool which is not supplied with the bottom bracket but must be purchased separately.
