The Eagle F1 has long been one of GoodYear’s premium motorsports tires, and GoodYear Bike (which is a licensing deal from Rubber Kinetics, who works with both GoodYear and bicycle tire manufacturers to translate the technology to cycling) continues to use that naming scheme to identify their tire’s hierarchy. SuperSport version is the most racing oriented one with superior performance.![]()
We are talking about classic tubes clincher tires (not tubeless ones), foldable. GoodYear want to offer an high quality product to increase performances for racing use where the classic tubes tires rolling resistance is superior than lower pressure tubeless systems ones.

The Eagle F1 SuperSport has got a Nylon 120 TPI casing which has got the perfect combination of flexibility and driving dynamics. New Dynamic GSR special compound combines the two hottest ingredients of the day: Graphene and Silica. Between them, they increase both wet and dry grip while still rolling fast. Those are blended into natural (resistance to cracking, drying) and synthetic (low rolling resistance) rubbers. It's a double compound, harder in the middle for a lower rolling resistance and for a long lasting and softer on the side for a better grip. Goodyear declare a better overall efficiency (+10%), a better grip on all conditions (+8%) and a longer lasting (+7.2%).

The Eagle F1 SuperSport has got a puncture protection belt between the case and the cap, this technology is named R:Shield and doesn't affect tyre performance in any way. The slick center tread section is for the fastest possible rolling performance, it’s meant for race day only!

The weight is very low, only 180 grams declared for a 700x23 mm tyre, but we often have seen lower weights on our digital scale. That's an amazing result because a lighter tyre allows a faster acceleration and power saving which are very important for competitions.
