Vivax handlebar has got a smart design and a great look, it's made with high quality materials and superfine manufacturing with a great attention also for small details like usual for very Italian craftsman tradition. Beautiful 3k Twill or UD mesh and embossed logo adds a fashion touch.
The greater goal of Vivax handlebar is its exclusive patented "Safety Clip Technology". The handlebar has got a special central insert which allows many advantages :
- A better cutting protection from stem and stem clamps sharp edges
- A better over tightening protection
- A better grip due to the rough surface, so is possibile to reduce stem torque and consequently handlebar stress
- An easier assembly with a faster centering
This special insert is firmly clamped in place on the handlebar thanks to a special seat on the handlebar surface, directly obtained from the mold. The insert can be easily removed and, if required, changed.
Safety Clip Technology is unique in cycling market and allows a greater safety with a longer component life...not a bad idea for an ultralight and expensive part. The special insert is made of carbon-titanium fibers which are very cut resistant and weighs only 2 grams.
With a weight of around 116 grams (740 mm width, 3k finishing), Vivax T800 handlebar is one of the lightest on the market. Weight tolerance +/- 5% due to resin concentration inside pre-preg fabrics. UD finishing adds about 4 grams weight.
Mono-coque technology with the use of high module carbon fibers and reinforcements (where the maximum stresses are located), allows to obtain a very strong handlebar with a great stiffness but also a big comfort. Vivax handlebar is extremely safe and reliable, is UNI EN 14766/2006 certified and easily exceed safety tests. Not only lab tests but also race test...there are many riders which use GrigioCarbonio components for competitions , not only for XC but also for heavy duty use riding like Super Enduro.
Many tests at the factory allowed to build an incredibly strong handlebar that can withstand up to 375 kg! Much more than any other competitor!

Vivax handlebar come with 3k Twill or Unidirectional UD mesh and glossy or matte finish. Graphics are sticker ones, you can easily remove and change them if they are damaged or only for a new look.
