With weights from 155 grams, GrigioCarbonio T800 Compact is one of the lightest Road Handlebar on the market. It's entirely made in Italy with high quality technologies and materials. Can be used on road (road racing, triathlon, track) and also off-road (Cross and Gravel).
It's a Compact shape handlebar with 78 mm Reach and 125 mm Drop. Has got 31.8 mm oversize diameter and is produced in 3 sizes : 400-420-440 mm (outer/outer) widths.
GrigioCarbonio T800 Road Compact Handlebar is made of T800 pre-preg carbon fibers with monolithic technology where unidirectional and bidirectional fibers are mixed to obtain the best stiffness/weight ratio possible. Thickness and shape are optimized for lightweight and only more stressed areas are reinforced (central stem area, shifters/levers area, handlebar ends).
GrigioCarbonio T800 Road Compact Handlebar use "Safety Clip" technology developed and patented by GrigioCarbonio. It provide a special insert in the central area which assure many advantages :
- Protect the handlebar from stem and stem clamps sharp edges
- Protect the handlebar from stem over-tightening
- Thanks to the rough surface helps stem clamping, so a lower tightening torque is required with less overall stress
- Allows a faster handlebar centering on the stem
This special insert perfectly match the handlebar thanks to a groove that directly comes from the molding. The groove shape and a glue fixing avoid any insert rotation, so the handlebar clamping in strong and safe. The special inserted can be removed and replaced anytime is required.
Safety Clip technology is unique and innovative, ensure a superior safety level and a longer lasting protecting an expensive product. The special insert is made of carbon-titanium, a material very hard to cut, and weighs only 2 grams!
With weights starting from 155 grams GrigioCarbonio T800 Carbon Compact is one of the lightest Road Handlebar on the market. Despite lightweight is very strong and reliable, ultra-stiff with a great comfort too. For GrigioCarbonio safety comes always first so each product is safety tested and certified (UNI EN 14766/2006). The handlebar is so strong that there's no any rider weight limit for it!
Installing a GrigioCarbonio T800 Compact Handlebar is quite easy but require the appropriate attention. We recommend the use of a torque wrench (an high quality one, well calibrated and that works in the middle of the operation area) to respect manufacturer torque specs.
GrigioCarbonio T800 Compact Handlebar with little bit of attention and care can also be installed on closed type front end stems like GrigioCarbonio Attack (Pictures shows T800 Compact handlebar paired with Attack stems but we remind you that the stem isn't included with the handlebar but you can buy it separately). On demand is possible to get a special handlebar with Di2 holes.
The handlebar can be produced with 3k twill or UD unidirectional external layer with glossy or matte finishing. Please take note that UD finishing and glossy finishing adds some extra weight. Graphics are sticker type (easy to remove and change) made with high quality 3M material. They are available in many colors and also customizable (please specify the graphics color inside order notes or write us an email with your choice).
GrigioCarbonio T800 Compact Handlebar comes with an elegant package which include a strong cardboard box, the product user manual (that you can also download here in the "download" area) and some spare graphics stickers.
