With weights starting from only 990 grams for the pair (24/24h XD cassette, 12K rims +/- 2% tolerance) GrigioCarbonio AS26 T1000 Extralite HyperBoost are some of the lightest 29" MTB clincher wheels on the market (the lightest ones with steel spokes).
These wheels are assembled with straight-pull spokes, 24x or 28x. They are assembled with Boost hubs but can also be assembled with other hub standards (for Lefty or RS-1 forks too). They're available with Sram XD 11-12s cassette body or Shimano Micro Spline 12s cassette body. They're available with 12K or UD carbon rim finishing, glossy or matte.
Although their impressive weight, these wheels are also strong and reliable due their incredible rims, GrigioCarbonio HardWheel AS26 T1000, which are their greater goal!
They're 29 mm wide (26 mm inner channel) and 25 mm height. They're asymmetrical with 3 mm offset.

Hardwheel AS26 T1000 rims are compatible with tubeless or tubeless ready tires, latex sealant conversion systems included. The asymmetrical shape allow a better overall performance (stiffness, precision, reliability) due to lower spoke tension difference between wheel sides. HardWheel AS26 T1000 rims are monocoque made with T1000 high module carbon fibre, the most advanced and performable on the market that allows to obtain an incredible weight/stiffness ratio. But the main and more important feature of T1000 fiber is its great elasticity (25% more than T800), so a better impact resistance, less vibrations and a superior comfort...all this is really great for a MTB rim! Please take note that also Formula One driver's safety Roll Cages are made with this special material!
T1000 carbon fiber is at lean 4 times more expensive tan T700 and T800 carbon fibers (which are usually used to make carbon fiber rims). GrigioCarbonio use 100% T1000 fibers and T1000 specific expensive resin and is proud to offer top quality products with unique features at a competitive price, that's the real goal.
HardWheel AS26 T1000 rims were tested for a long time, not only lab tested but also on the race tracks, where national and international top riders abused them without problems...they're very happy with their performance!

HardWheel AS26 T1000 rims are incredibly light, only 255 (front) - 265 (rear) grams each, actually the lightest MTB 29er clincher rims in the world, but due their top quality materials and manufacturing, they haven't got any rider weight limit, and this is really impressive!
Also the hubs are top quality ones, we are talking about the famous Extralite HyperBoost hubs, which are the only choice to assemble an ultralight wheelset!
Extralite HyperBoost hubs are fine mechanics masterpieces. They're made of 7075T6 aluminum ably machined to obtain smooth and sexy shapes. They've got straight-pull flanges for straight-pull spokes which allows stronger and stiffer wheels without weakness typical of j-bend spokes.
Extralite HyperBoost hubs has got an hyper engineered front engagement system with 36 (Sram XD) or 60 (Sram XD, Shimano Micro Spline) engagement positions for a fast and smooth action with minimal friction resistance.
Rolling action take advantages from the use of Enduro ABEC5 stainless steel sealed bearings; this kind of material assure a longer bearing life also with severe conditions. An external bearings pre-load system allows to obtain the perfect side play for the maximum performance (rolling resistance, smoothness and lasting). Hyper Ceramic bearings are also available as option.

GrigioCarbonio 29" AS26 T1000 Extralite HyperBoost wheels are laced with Alpina Hyperlite top end spokes of famous Italian brand. They're double butted (2.0 - 1.3 - 2.0 mm)bladed aero straight-pull spokes made of special C45 carbon steel alloy which has major resistance to impact and fatigue than stainless steel alloys usually used for spokes.
Based on the 80 years Alpina's experience, Hyperlite spokes are 25% lighter than any other high-end spoke (like sapim CX-Ray etc.) with an impressive 3.25 gr. weight each. They're light but also strong and reliable, they can withstand up to 3600 N loads!
Spoke nipples are made of aluminum and they've got hexagonal head with spherical under head for a better fitting with rim holes. These nipples has also got a special system that avoid spokes loosen.
