Carbon-Ti X-CarboRing BCD 110 (5 arms) are the latest evolution of super light chainrings for Road Racing, Gravel or Cross bikes with a composite structure in aluminum alloy and carbon fiber. They are the result of a long process that aimed to create a product very different from those currently available on the market. These are inner chainrings in double setup, with 110 mm BCD 5-arm, compatible with cranks like THM Clavicula SE, Quarq DZero, etc. produced in 34T-36T-39T-40T-44T-46T.

X-CarboRing chainrings are made by coupling a functional part in aluminum (where the teeth of the chainring are) to a structural part in carbon fiber using specific grade 5 titanium pins.

The aluminum part is machined from solid through sophisticated numerical control machining starting from a plate of aeronautical alloy (7075T6). This very hard material guarantees a much longer duration over time than a normal aluminum chainring and helps to limit the premature wear of the chainring itself.

The carbon fiber part acts as a structural support helping to increase the rigidity and to contain the weight at the same time. It starts from a high quality carbon fiber plate with a thickness of 5 mm which is initially cut with waterjet technology and then milled with CNC numerical control. Carbon-Ti has invested a lot of time in studying and experimenting with solutions and design capable of guaranteeing the best shifting quality both in terms of precision and speed!

The aluminum part has a black anodized finish, while the carbon fiber part has a glossy 3k twill aesthetic finish.

Special millings are present both on the external and internal side of the chainring, the shape and profile of the teeth with their inclination and exit angle has been designed with a great care by Carbon-Ti, the X-CarboRing chainrings has left nothing to chance.

The profile of the teeth is in fact beveled in such a way as to facilitate use with the outermost cogs or the first and last of the drivetrain cassette which are notoriously the most critical but often also the most used. The refined and optimized design allows a very low friction of use and consequent silence with optimal operation even in the most severe conditions.

The fixing standard is BCD 110 mm with 5 arms, therefore dedicated to cranks with this compact standard such as the THM Clavicula SE or the Quarq DZero. As for compatibility with the various types of drivetrain, it is ensured with the Shimano Dura-Ace 9200, Ultegra 8100, Campagnolo 12v groupsets and all previous Sram and Shimano 11v groupsets. The X-CarboRing chainrings are not compatible with Sram AXS 12v groupsets for which there is a specific compatible version called X-AXS. It is specified when writing compatible with groups of a certain type, it does not mean that the chainrings mount on the original cranks of that group, but that they are compatible with the rest of the transmission (chain, cassette etc.), compatibility with the crank arm is therefore different from the compatibility with the group. If you have any doubts, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The X-CarboRing are chainrings for use in the inner position on a double chainrings transmission, their natural combination for the internal position are the the X-CarboRing EVO chainrings series that you can always find in our webshop and among the products recommended at the end of this product page. The chainrings must be coupled in this way :

- 50T/34T
- 52T/36T
- 53T/39T
- 54T/40T
- 56T/44T
- 58T/46T

To be fixed to compatible cranks, the X-CarboRing chainrings require male and female chainring bolts of standard length (we recommend using the specific Carbon-Ti X-Fix Road chainring bolts kit, also made of 7075T6 CNC aluminum and available in various anodized colors, which you can always find in our webshop).

With weights starting from 28 grams (34T), thanks to the construction technology, the precious materials used and the design with attention to the smallest details, the X-CarboRing chainrings are decidedly lighter and aesthetically much more appealing than most of the chainrings on the market. with a racing and elegant look at the same time able to give a touch of exclusivity to your bicycle.

The original packaging, in addition to the chainring, also includes the instruction manual in two languages (Italian and English) all in an elegant protective rigid cardboard box.

The X-CarboRing chainrings, like all Carbon-Ti products, are proudly 100% Made in Italy! Their demand is always very high and the production capacity is difficult to satisfy the demand, so before completing a possible order for products not available in stock, we always recommend contacting us to obtain information regarding availability and lead times delivery.
