X-Cap Carbon Matte OS is an ultralight carbon fiber headset cap for 1.1/4" Oversize stems/steering tubes. It's a nice and clever removable accessory that allows to tune up headset preload and axial play.
X-Cap Carbon Matte OS include a top cap and a fixing/regulation bolt. The top cap is made of carbon fiber from an high module carbon fiber plate cutted through waterjet technology and then CNC machined to obtain small details. Has got 3k matte carbon fiber natural finishing.
The fixing/regulation bolt is made of 7075T6 aluminium CNC machined. It's a TSPEI bolt with T25 Torx insert head. Its size is M6 x 35 mm. It's available in many anodized colors (black, red, gold, blue, gree, acid green, silver, polished) with "Carbon-Ti" laser etched logo.
X-Cap Carbon Matte OS headset cap is made for 1.1/4" oversize stems/steering tubes. Carbon-Ti also produce X-Cap Carbon (glossy or matte version both) fori 1.1/8" standard stems/steering tubes. You can find them on our webshop.
X-Cap Carbon OS has got a total weight (cap + bolt) of about 6 grams, so it's a lightweight product but it doesn't allow only a weight saving but also adds a touch of fashion to your bicycle with a racing look.
Carbon-Ti also produce a steering expander (X-Plug OS) specific for 1.1/4" oversize standard, of course, you can find it on our webshop too. X-Cap Carbon Matte OS, as all Carbon-Ti products, is fully Made in Italy.
