Carbon-Ti X-RoadCam BCD 110 (5 arms) are a series of asymmetric aluminum chainrings for Road Racing, Gravel or Cross bikes. These are chainring for double chainrings drivetrain systems with 110 mm BCD 5-arms, compatible with cranks like THM Clavicula SE, Quarq DZero, etc. They're produced in 36T - 38T - 50T - 52T.

These are dual-cam typer variable geometry chainrings. This particular solution introduce many advantages, the variable geometry allows more constant power and a more efficient pedal stroke which il less affected by dead spots. In essence, the radius of the chainring is smaller near the dead points where the force exerted on the pedals is less, while it is greater in conjunction with the phase of maximum stroke on the cranks.

This optimization make it possible to obtain greater performances with power increases up to 10%, reduction of the aerobic threshold up to 12% and savings in the use of oxygen up to 10%. Naturally, an adaptation period is required as the pedaling sensations are different from the classic round chainrings but then you can clearly feel all the benefits. It is therefore not a question of bizarre alternative solutions but of a type of chainrings that is used not only by amateurs but also by professionals (with double cam chainrings someone have even won the Tour de France...).

The aluminum structure is machined from solid using sophisticated numerical control machining starting from an aeronautical alloy plate (7075T6). This very hard material guarantees a much longer life than a normal aluminum chainring and helps to limit premature wear of the chainring itself.

The outer chainrings have pins made of titanium that facilitate shifting. Carbon-Ti has invested a lot of time in studying and experimenting with solutions and designs capable of guaranteeing the best shifting quality both in terms of precision and speed!

The finish is black anodized with elegant laser etched graphics that ensire durability over time without adding unnecessary weight.

Special millings are present on the profile of the teeth, with their inclination and exit angle Carbon-Ti in designing the X-RoadCam chainrings has left nothing to chance. The profile of the teeth is in fact rounded in such a way as to facilitate use with the outer cassette cog, i.e. the first and the last of the cassette cogs which are notoriously the most critical but often also the most used. The accurate and optimized design allow a very low friction of use and consequent silence with optimal functioning even in the most severe conditions.
The fixing standard is BCD 110 mm with 5 arms, therefore dedicated to cranks with this compact standard such as the THM Clavicula SE or the Quarq DZero. As for compatibility with the various types of drivetrain, it is ensured up to 11s groupsets included. The X-CarboRing chainrings are not compatible with 12s groupsets. It is specified when writing compatible with groups of a certain type, it does not mean that the chainrings mount on the original cranks of that group, but that they are compatible with the rest of the transmission (chain, cassette etc.), compatibility with the crank arm is therefore different from the compatibility with the group. If you have any doubts, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The X-RoadCam chainrings must be used on double chainrings drivetrain systems, they have been designed and build to work together in symbiosis, therefore for excellent functionality and maximum effectiveness it is highly recommended to mount them in combination avoiding mixing branded products and different models. For the same reason, it is highly recommended to use the X-RoadCam chainrings with the following combinations : 36-50T or 38-52T.

To be fixed to compatible cranks, the X-RoadCam chainrings require male and female chainring bolts of standard length (we recommend using the specific Carbon-Ti X-Fix Road chainring bolts kit, also made of 7075T6 CNC aluminum and available in various anodized colors, which you can always find in our webshop).

With weights starting from 30 grams (36T), thanks to the construction technology, the precious materials used and the design with attention to the smallest details, the X-RoadCam chainrings are lighter and aesthetically much more appealing than most of the same type chainrings on the market. with a racing and elegant look at the same time able to give a touch of exclusivity to your bicycle.

X-RoadCam chainrings are sold individually. The original packaging, in addition to the chainring, also includes the instruction manual in two languages (Italian and English) all in an elegant protective rigid cardboard box.

The X-RoadCam chainrings, like all Carbon-Ti products, are proudly 100% Made in Italy! Their demand is always very high and the production capacity is difficult to satisfy the demand, so before completing a possible order for products not available in stock, we always recommend contacting us to obtain information regarding availability and lead times delivery.
