With weights starting from just 85 grams Darimo Carbon T1 Aero are among the lightest aerodynamic seatposts in the world. They are produced in Spain with high standards of quality and materials and made in different versions compatible with the most prestigious frames/bicycles in the world. The list of available models is constantly evolving and updated and this product sheet allows you to order the seatpost for your bicycle even when a specific product page has not yet been created for that specific model.

The drop-down menu allows you to choose the version of the seat post and the offset (backward/forward) is also specified, while in the "customization" fields it is possible to choose both the length of the seat post (in this regard we advise you to read this product sheet entirely and carefully) and the type of carbon weave (UD or 3k), the finish (matt or glossy) and the color of the graphics.

Darimo carbon T1 Aero seatpost has got a 2 bolts clamping system and it's compatible with round (7 x 7 mm) and oval (7 x 9 mm) rail saddles both also carbon fiber made. It has got a wide ratio of tuning and it's compatible also with modern geometry frames.

Darimo Carbon T1 Aero seatpost is usually available in 250/300/350/400 mm length. On demand you can also order a seatpost with custom length (in this way you can save more weigth).

Main tube design is optimized to obtain the best stiffness/weight ratio possible, so has got a limited reinforced clamping zone (between two white marks) :

Before placing an order, please be sure to choose the proper seatpost length, measure the length of your seatpost out of the frame. Measure from seatclamp to saddle rails. Then choose the appropriate size following the chart indications :

However, the version for Colnago Y1RS deserves a separate discussion, whose dedicated seatpost has a limited clamping area of ​​approximately 35 mm. To choose the correct length, you must always measure the length outside the frame (length "X" in the image below) and add 110 mm (X + 110 mm). For example, if the "X" length measures 135 mm, the correct length to choose will be: 135 mm + 110 mm = 245 mm.

We remind you that choosing the same length as the original seatpost can represent a mistake because they are not based on the same construction principle and the risk is that of not falling within the correct tightening area with possible breakages that will not be covered by the warranty, so it is very important to invest a minimum of time in choosing the correct size and in case of any doubts ask us for advice and confirmation.

The main tube is made of carbon fiber using bidirectional and unidirectional fabrics with an studied asymmetrical laminate to achieve the optimum combination of minimum weight and maximum of resistance. Each seatpost is laminated by hand to achieve a record weight keeping in mind the strength and your safety. To do this, at each point of the seatpost there are a different numbers and arrangements of carbon fiber layers. The layers arrangement is obtained after finite elements analysis and destructive testing.

Seatpost yokes are made of 7075T6 aluminum alloy finely CNC machined to obtain sinuous shapes capable of guaranteeing safe support on the saddle rail without sharp edges that could damage them. Only some versions with zero offset of some models equipped with a rather small tube section (Berria Belador, BMC TeamMachine, BMC TwoStroke, Cannondale SuperSix EVO C1 27, Canyon ad 2015-2020, Cervelo R5, Cervelo Caledonia, Colnago V3RS, Colnago C64, Colnago V3, Colnago C3, Colnago X, Giant Revolt, Giant TCX, Specialized Tarmac SL6, X-Lab XDS AD9) feature a "Loop" clamping system with Dyneema textile fiber rings instead of the classic aluminum yokes. The cradle is made of carbon fiber and has large end areas specially shaped to accommodate the saddle rail in the best possible way. The absence of sharp edges and the large contact surface guarantee full compatibility even with saddles equipped with carbon fiber rail.

The bolts has got M5 diameter and are grade 5 high quality titanium made with forged head and rolled threads. Black anodized color finishing. The front bolt has got a special design head with through holes which allows micro-tuning if required when there isn't enough room to use an hex wrench. The bolts are screwed up onto 7075T6 aluminium nuts. The rounded shape of this nuts allow a correct load distribution without local stressed points.

With weights starting from just 85 gr. Darimo Carbon T1 Aero seatposts are among the lightest aerodynamic seatposts in the world. The weight obviously varies depending on the models, length and carbon weave (the UD weave is slightly heavier than the 3k). The weight tolerance is approximately +/- 3%.

Lightweight but also absolute safe, Darimo Carbon T1 Aero seatposts are designed with the help of modern CAD software and FEM analysis and easily pass the standard ISO 4210 tests! The maximum rider weight limit allowed is 95 kg, but on demand a custom seatpost for heavier bikers could be produced (consider about +15-20 grams added for a maximum length seatpost).

We recommend to install Darimo Carbon T1 Aero seatposts with the help of a good quality torque wrench following user manual specs (6 Nm max for seatclamp and 4 Nm max for seatpost yokes bolts). It's also very important to verify correct frame preparation to avoid any sharp edges (please follow user manual instructions, you can find the user manual inside the seatpost package and also inside the "download" section).

Seatpost tube can be produced with carbon fiber 3k twill or UD unidirectional fibers final layer with matte or glossy finishing, the cradle is always 3k twill (matte or glossy, matching the tube finishing), seatpost yokes and bolts are black anodized for a nice "stealth" look.

Decals are sticker type, 3k twill seatposts usually comes with white "Darimo" written and red Darimo logo, UD finishing seatposts usually comes with all black Darimo written and logo for a "stealth" look. Custom color decals are possible on demand. Please write your choice in the customization field.

Darimo Carbon T1 Aero seatposts comes with a package which contains also user manual (English language) and installation pack with sand paper and carbon fiber mounting compound. There's also a label to certify product real weight. Any saddles present in the photographs of this product sheet are to be considered for purely illustrative purposes and are naturally not included with the purchase of the seatpost.
